Hi. I'm Alan and along with my daughter Leah we are A&L Photography Glasgow.

I have had a camera in my hand since I was a child and was forever taking pictures.

This love of photography developed over the years and I enjoyed different genres including landscape, street and macro.

It is from the street photography that my style of wedding photography has developed and I prefer a more relaxed style of candid photography although I am happy of course to combine this with the classic group shots.

My favourite part of the wedding from a photography point of view has to be the speeches. Capturing the facial expressions of your wedding guests, the smiles, the laughs and the general emotion shown, provides some of the best opportunities for candid and natural wedding photographs.

Away from the camera I'm a family man, a dog lover and when I get time enjoy scuba diving and hillwalking. Leah loves her music and is a regular gig goer.
